Mmmhmmm, what a nice remix. I appreciate that you approached this from Giles and not Willow, because it gave the whole story another really lovely slant. The strange sense of joy and release you've managed to get across here is really unique and, I don't know, it reminds me of exactly what I felt when the show was over. Sad because, yes, it was over and Sunnydale was gone, but a sense of real relief that for our characters, something big and scary had ended, permanently in many ways. You caught that perfectly here, and it just creates a truly special moment. Thanks for writing this!
