I was frozen and intimidated for a long time, to be honest. I read so many lovely stories and said, well, this story is complete. There isn't a ragged edge here for me to pick at! In reading the other remixes, I've realized that I could have changed more, and taken these stories as a starting point for something else. But I didn't quite realize that, and probably would have been too timid to do that anyway.

I finally got my hook when I asked myself what the other characters would be experiencing. Buffy was a viewpoint character I toyed with for a while, before deciding she was too much for me just then.
