Thank you so much for this. I was a little surprised at first that you remixed this fic, considering that not a lot happens in it. But, oh, you sold me in the first paragraph, and captured everything I love about the brothers, and Sam's longing to be normal, in a beautifully told story.
From the first scene, where Sam's trying to trick his mind into believing something he's never known to the field scene (and yaye for the boys wrestling & Dean playing dirty) and Dean answering Sam's question the best way he knows how, the entire fic just shows the love that they have for each other. And, in the end, that's what family is.
