I love this! By this part of the end, You're no longer Jack O'Neill's white space but that doesn't mean you want him to keep throwing away something that you know he wants to hold onto., my arms were all goosebumped.

The heartbreaking tenderness in the parts about Sam and Daniel and particularly Charlie. And I can't skip over the funny. I can hear Jack scolding himself as he keeps repeating "decades of practical experience". Hee.

I'm don't think I can do justice to what you did by commenting on how delicately you wove the elements together, particularly of the friendship with Tommy and Tommy's art. By getting to know Tommy, we see this Jack come into his own. The use of the idea of art via the negative space has me all jealousy. Ah, in a healthy sort of jealous way.

Thank you so much for all the thought you put into this. I'm terribly curious to know who you are.
