OH THANK GOD. I was unbelievably intimidated when I pulled your name--you have such a gorgeous, lyrical style, and a beautiful way with mood in your stories. I knew right away that I wanted to tackle "Oikos," but it took me a while to figure out exactly how (uh, be glad I didn't go with my original idea, which was All Emo Pain, All The Time).

I do like the idea that this story happens behind the scenes of "Oikos"--yours is much broader in scope and carries them further into the future, mine is more the fiddly bits along the way.

I'm so glad you liked it, and I'm so glad you participated in Remix. I was thrilled to get the chance to work with a story as smart as "Oikos;" I tried to do it justice.
