I'm so, so glad to see that you enjoyed the fic! *huge sigh of relief* I have to admit I struggled a bit with this, and I've been anxious, hoping that I did your original drabble justice. I think I took it in a slightly different direction from what you'd originally intended, but it was a great journey and a chance to write characters I don't usually pay enough attention to. (I'm not quite sure how that happened, since you have so much R/S to work with! But there was something very compelling about this scenario, and then remeciel's illustrations caught my imagination, as well.)
