I felt really lucky to draw your name, since I had so much to choose from. I was very very tempted by the Kendra/Faith story (I rewatched her episodes and thought about writing the dream from her point of view, after she got back to Jamaica) -- but this one was just calling out to me, with Hank and with the tiniest hint of Scott/Emma in the background. Emma's friendship with Hank has always been one of the things I like most about her, so this all came together really well for me. I loved the way there was an undercurrent of sadness and mourning in the original -- poor Bobby doesn't even feel like he has the right to be upset about everything that's happened to him, because other people have it worse.
This story was a real joy to work with, and I'm so glad you liked the result.
