Oh, this is lovely! I can't believe you pulled this out of my little flashfic one-off, but I love it a lot - for the imagery, and for the essential Johnness of it all. Yes, stuff in Atlantis can be scary and horrible, but for John it's where he's meant to be, with the people he's meant to be with, doing the things he was meant to do. I like the way you've created a sense that the Pegasus galaxy is a puzzle and John is a piece that fits into it perfectly, just like Daniel fits perfectly into his.
