Awwww. I liked this - it's more warmhearted than the original, but still keeps much of the sudden stop and pain that sits behind Aeryn and John and Little D's whole existance. I think the John voice and characterization was one of the strongest things about this story.

I also liked Aeryn and John tag-teaming the kid - Butch and Sundance to the end.
