I love the explanation of Remus's name--it makes so much more sense than his parents just naming him that, and it's something I can totally see the Ministry making him do. And Remus's parents are so, so awesome for changing their names too.

This was such a good fic! Wonderful use of the original character, and I loved that you added more background to Alastair's relationship with Remus to the scenes from the original fic. Really, really lovely job. :)
