Thank you so much! Yep, I wrote both of 'em, in a short space of days. I did the sestina first, because the structure just hit me, and there was so much to learn; but I knew I'd be doing two, 'cause I needed my thousand-word minimum. I'm glad I chose this story, because it seems to work well with the sestina as well as with the originals in both cases...probably because I wrote them so close together, I was still thinking of the one when I did the other... Anyway, I don't mean to ramble, except I totally do 'cause I'm excited. I'd best go off and write a meta post about the whole thing.
