Oh! This story was really touching and... I'm trying to think of the right word, but the only thing coming to mind is "empowering".
I mean, poor crazy River is so often just poor crazy River. It's nice to see the story of her fighting and trying and doing all these things rather than just having things done to her. And you wrote it so, so well. Thank you.
