I am so, so glad you liked it! I really did want to write a story you'd be pleased by.

One of the things I was struck by when I read Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Nightingale' was how very much not a cheerful, "happily ever after" fairy tale it was, and I wanted to bring that mood into this remix. I'm very glad to hear it worked.
