Mm! Really good read. A scary but very logical look at Draco being groomed to be his father's heir (I have such a weakness for that particular type of story :D).
I really, really like your take on Draco in general! You don't erase any of his failings, but you approach them in a way that is, if not entirely sympathetic, than at least completely and utterly believable. I can totally see how Draco might try to excuse all the times he's run, and I love that you give little hints at the end that he's always known the excuses weren't 100% true. Really nice work!
