Hee! It's so true, and you really get at one of my favorite aspects of due South canon - that no matter how ridiculous your premise, the show is just as silly, just as random and off-the-wall. Hooray!
Also, on a more serious note, I really do like the structure of this - it's really neat, with the divided POVs and the way they all see something that's not-quite-right, but never the right something. And Dief! I love Dief forever.
