What a lovely take on this story. I love how you took all the elements that were present in the original and made it into something different, with it's own depth. Also I loved your insight into Sam's and Dean's character through Sam's eyes. The last section really packed a punch. So sparse and powerful at the same time. It said so much about their relationship.
