I've been thinking the Lupins really must be exceptional. I mean, Fenrir likes biting kids, right? I'm sure a lot of them die, but then he takes them and raises them in the wild. And then add in that it sure seems like Remus is the only werewolf to have ever attended Hogwarts as a werewolf (unless someone's done it with Wolfsbane). To me, that's implying that most parents whose kids survive don't keep them, or don't make a huge effort to get them back from Greyback. The Lupins must have really been something else.
