"Permutations" isn't the first story I'd have thought of to compare this fic with it, but then this remix has my fingerprints all over it; I would have been shocked if Ari hadn't been able to recognize it as having been mine. Now that I think about it, I can definitely see the similarities betweenb this and "Permutations" (not to mention between this and "Dear My Ideal Audience" and "School of Lost Souls" and "For the Fairest" and. . . .)
