Fic: Walking After Midnight part two
Date: 2007-04-29 07:31 am (UTC)They're a great creature/menace, the Ptarmiiki.
And the sense that Angel has of the kind of night against really well done, and a bit fun against the ordinariness of his antagonism with Xander. Very in character for the show.

Date: 2007-04-29 07:47 pm (UTC)The original author seemed to feel that demonic hive-rats were a little off-putting — though he praised the story overall — but to me they felt like the right mix of 1) something that could cause Angel some problems, by surprise and numbers, and 2) something that Xander would be able to fight against with reasonable effectiveness but without coming across as unrealistically heroic.
I’m glad it seemed to work for you.
